# Architecture & Reliability Audit

An evidence-led account of where the system can fail and what to do first. AI systems with rising cost, brittle agents, unclear data flows, reliability anxiety, or an upcoming scale event.

## When this fits

AI systems with rising cost, brittle agents, unclear data flows, reliability anxiety, or an upcoming scale event.

## How I would approach it

I would begin with what the system actually does, not what the diagram says it does. We would trace the model, data, context, tools, state, costs, failure paths, and human controls, then separate urgent risks from ordinary technical debt. You will get a plain account of the choices in front of you and the order I would tackle them.

## Useful artefacts, not ceremonial deliverables

### System and dependency map

The real flow of models, data, tools, state, providers, and human intervention.

### Failure-mode and security review

Consequential failure paths separated from ordinary debt and cosmetic concern.

### Evaluation, latency and cost baseline

A measurable starting point for quality, speed, spend, and unknown behaviour.

### Prioritised repair plan with decision options

An ordered plan that explains urgency, tradeoffs, and what each option buys.
